GSC ROTC Cadets Participate in Battle of Bulltown Staff Ride

 Members of the دمهْض±²¥ State College Army ROTC program recently took part in a 'Staff Ride' at the Bulltown Historic Area located in Braxton County, West Virginia. A Staff Ride is an opportunity for members of a military organization to study historic operations and apply current principles, while fostering a sense of camaraderie with their brethren of the past.
Swimming Lessons Being Held at GSC

 Swimming lessons soon will be held at دمهْض±²¥ State College for local residents. Sign-ups will take place Tuesday, June 17th, Wednesday, June 18th, and Thursday, June 19th from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the GSC Pool, located in the basement of the Physical Education Building. Student swimming abilities will be tested during sign-ups.
Incoming Freshmen Invited to Register at GSC

 Incoming دمهْض±²¥ State College freshmen, who will be members of the Class of 2018, are invited to complete their course registrations on Saturday, June 21st at GSC's Registration Day. The day's activities begin at 9:00 a.m. with a check in and continental breakfast in the Land Resources Area of GSC’s new Waco Center.
GSC Spring 2014 President's Honor List Announced

 دمهْض±²¥ State College's Spring 2014 President's Honor List has been announced. To be named to the GSC President's Honor Roll, students must have a 4.0 grade point average and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours.

 دمهْض±²¥ State College's Spring 2014 Provost's Honor List has been announced. To be named to the GSC Provost's Honor Roll, students must have grade point averages between 3.5 and 3.9 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours.
New GSC Pioneer Mascot Named

 Robert 'Goat' Hensley, a junior from Dundalk, Maryland, has been named the دمهْض±²¥ State College Pioneer Mascot for the 2014-2015 school year.
DeMatteo Receives GSC Faculty Award of Excellence

 دمهْض±²¥ State College Professor of History Dr. Art DeMatteo is the 2014 recipient of the GSC Faculty Award of Excellence. DeMatteo, who has worked at GSC for ten years, received the award at the 140th GSC Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 10th.
Four GSC Cadets Receive Army Commissions

 On Friday, May 9th four دمهْض±²¥ State College Army ROTC students, also members of the WVSU based 'Yellow Jacket Battalion,' were commissioned as United States Army Second Lieutenants during a ceremony held at the state capitol in Charleston.
Twenty-Nine Students Recognized at Honors Convocation

 Twenty-nine students, one student organization, and one student group's faculty advisors have been recognized at the 2014 دمهْض±²¥ State College Honors Convocation Ceremony. The event took place on May 1st following a banquet in the Mollohan Campus Community Center Ballroom.
