"Come Spin a Tale!" Youth Storytelling Camp

Sponsored by the West Virginia Storytelling Guild and ÏãåúÖ±²¥
Monday, July 22 - Friday, July 26, 2024 on the campus of ÏãåúÖ±²¥
Open to incoming 9th-12th graders and new high school graduates

Students will be given instruction in establishing stories and developing characters, getting and keeping an audience’s attention, drawing from personal narratives, developing improvisational skills, using body language and inflection, performance skills, telling tall tales, and more. Tuition for the camp is $100 and includes meals and lodging on the ÏãåúÖ±²¥ campus.

Numerous workshops will be held throughout the week including storytellersÌýJames Froemel, Mike Perry, Judi Tarowski, and more.
