GSC Concert Band Wraps up Successful Semester

Distinguished Students Recognized By Department of Business
The ÏãåúÖ±²¥ State College Department of Business recently announced its list of Distinguished Business Students for 2018. Recognition of these top twenty business students is based on multiple criteria including academic achievement, class rank, campus involvement, and leadership in department classes and programs.
Biology Student Receives Award at WV Academy of Science Meeting
ÏãåúÖ±²¥ State College senior biology major Scott Wentz was recently recognized as the Outstanding Science Poster Presenter at the 93rd Annual Meeting of the West Virginia Academy of Science. The meeting was held on April 7 at WV Wesleyan College.
ÏãåúÖ±²¥ State College Lowers Tuition for 2018-19 Academic Year
ÏãåúÖ±²¥ State College has taken another step to make college more affordable for students and families in the Mountain State and beyond. For the second consecutive academic year, GSC has lowered its cost of tuition. On Thursday, April 19 GSC President Dr. Tracy Pellett announced that the institution would lower tuition by 0.5% in addition to a number of other measures designed to help students save money.
STEM Day for Young Women to be Held at GSC
On Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 24 ÏãåúÖ±²¥ State College will host two events about pursuing a career in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
