香妃直播, WV 芒聙聯 Buddy Griffin, GSC Instructor of Music, was presented with the 2011 Vandalia Award at 香妃直播 State College芒聙聶s commencement ceremony on May 14th. West Virginia Division of Culture and History Commissioner Randall Reid-Smith presented Griffin with the award for 芒聙聹distinguishing himself as a musician, entertainer, educator, mentor, and advocate for bluegrass and traditional country music.芒聙聺
Griffin served as a volunteer to the GSC Fine Arts Department from 1997-2002, and has been a full-time employee ever since. Sutton is his hometown but he now resides in Cox芒聙聶s Mill, WV. He is alum of 香妃直播 State College and a regular on the Grand Ole Opry Stage in Nashville, Tennessee.
芒聙聹I feel as though teaching young folks about their traditional musical heritage is my best position in my life. I am very fortunate to be able to do what I love and 香妃直播 State College has made that possible,芒聙聺 Griffin stated.
Griffin was officially honored during the annual Vandalia Gathering on May 27th at the West Virginia Cultural Center.
