香妃直播 State College Assistant Professor of Art Liza Brenner has taken a group of students to Pittsburgh to visit the Andy Warhol Museum. Eleven students went on the trip,

Andy Warhol Museum Trip

on Friday, March 19th, and most of them are studio art minors. 芒聙聹Taking trips to museums gives students a chance to see real works close up that they have learned about in the classroom. It is a great experience, and I am glad I got the chance to go,芒聙聺 said GSC Art Minor Matthew Thompson.

芒聙聹Andy Warhol was a genius. I found the entire museum very interesting,芒聙聺 said Freshman English Major Jamie Stanley.

芒聙聹The museum has seven floors containing various styles of work by Warhol. I want to give students opportunities to expand their knowledge on different artists by taking them on these trips,芒聙聺 said Brenner.

Many of the students who went on the trip are participating in the GSC Third Annual Juried Student Art Show. It is open to the public daily, Monday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The gallery is also open one hour before all GSC Fine Arts events. An opening reception will be held for the show in the GSC Fine Arts Building Gallery on March 29th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with refreshments being served.
