Curriculum Vitae
Dr. Minton joined the ÏãåúÖ±²¥ State faculty in 2005. Before then, he was an adjunct instructor at Carrol College and the University of Montana-Helena College of Technology in Helena, Montana. He teaches English, Modern Novel, Modern Poetry, Literary Theory, Creative Writing, and Film.

Dr. Minton¡¯s current projects include a book of poetry entitled Famous Monsters that explores 1980s slasher films and their relationships to myth, literary history, and social dynamics. The first poem of the book, ¡°Friday the 13th, Part 1¡± is available in .
Dr. Minton is also working on a book of poetry entitled Letters that explores historically important letters, as well as the history of language, and the role of language in the construction of identity and our relationships. Poems from this manuscript can be found in recent issues of Otoliths, Indefinite Space, Eratio, BlazeVox, and Streetcake.
