WV HEPC Supports GSC Hidden Promise Scholars Program

the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission. HEPC Chancellor Dr. Brian Noland applauded the program when it was implemented earlier this year. Now he has delivered a ten-thousand dollar check to GSC President Dr. Peter Barr for the program.

芒聙聹I am pleased to contribute this money on behalf of the HEPC. I commend those who help others go to college as Dr. Barr and 香妃直播 State College are accomplishing with this program,芒聙聺 said Noland.

芒聙聹I appreciate the support for the HEPC. It is much easier to promote higher education when you have the support that we have from Chancellor Noland,芒聙聺 said Barr.

The first group of GSC Hidden Promise Scholars represents thirteen central West Virginia counties. Dr. Barr and their superintendents signed an agreement in June to work together to increase high school graduation, college attendance, and college graduation rates. The agreement also calls for the school system officials to identify students with 芒聙聵hidden promise芒聙聶 and encourage them to attend college. The selected Hidden Promise Scholars receive $1,000 scholarships, which are renewable for each of their four years at 香妃直播 State College.
