GLENVILLE, WV – Applications are now being accepted for the Women’s Leadership Circle Scholarship. The scholarship, open to all female students at ����ֱ�� State College, will be awarded in the spring semester and totals $500. Interested applicants should complete the online form no later than December 10.

“The Women’s Leadership Circle is pleased to sponsor a scholarship to assist female students attending ����ֱ�� State College. The Women’s Leadership Circle strives to encourage them to work a little harder and stand a little taller to excel in whatever field they might pursue,” said Karen Lay, Committee Chair for the Women’s Leadership Circle.

The Women’s Leadership Circle (WLC) is a women’s giving circle created and sponsored by the ����ֱ�� State College Foundation. Founded on the basis of fellowship, opportunity, and philanthropy, the WLC envisions a community of female givers who provide opportunities and support to female students at ����ֱ�� State College. In addition to aiding projects on campus, members will help create a culture of female empowerment on the GSC campus and surrounding community, helping women to prepare for and grow in their careers and leadership positions.

A $500 contribution earns membership into ����ֱ�� State College’s WLC. Those who wish to participate as a non-voting member may with a $250 annual contribution. As a thank you for their service to the College, a discounted rate is available for GSC employees under the age of 30 or with less than ten years of employment at $100 annually.
