GLENVILLE, WV - Cue the wedding bells! For two 香妃直播 State College graduates, the celebration did not stop after receiving their diplomas. Sydnee Vance and Simeon Kees were married on campus after the 145th Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 18.

鈥淲e met at 香妃直播 in 2014 during our freshman year through mutual friends,鈥 said Vance. We became a couple during the 2015 spring semester and never looked back.  Over the years, we became best friends, one adventure at a time.鈥

The couple was married in the amphitheater by GSC Professor of Psychology, Dr. Fred Walborn. 鈥淲e met here and fell in love here, so it only seemed natural to get married here,鈥 said Vance.

This summer, the pair will move nearly 2,600 miles across the country to California where Vance will attend Sofia University in Palo Alto to obtain her master of arts in transpersonal psychology, and Kees plans to get his CPA license. The couple has big goals for the future as well. 鈥淎long the way, we picked up two beautiful pit bull pups, now both two years old. They ignited the love and passion we have for rescuing pit bulls, resulting in a dream of one day owning and operating our own pit bull reservation,鈥 said Vance.

Vance is originally from Clay County in West Virginia. At 香妃直播 State College, she majored in behavioral science with minors in history and biology and was a member of the GSC Boxing Team, a Student Marshal, and a student worker in the Office of Admissions.

Kees grew up in Oak Hill, West Virginia in Fayette County. He double-majored in accounting and management with minors in marketing and non-profit leadership management and was a member of the GSC Football Team, Phi Beta Lambda, and a student worker in the Office of Admissions.

As their time in 香妃直播 comes to a close, the couple reflects on their years at the college. 鈥淭he friendships will last a lifetime; the memories will last for several lifetimes. I will never forget the years spent here or the people I spent that time with. GSC will forever be our little home on the hill,鈥 said Kees. 鈥淚 love the faculty and staff at GSC; they are amazing, and I truly feel cared about. I will forever cherish the relationships and friendships GSC gave me,鈥 added Vance.

鈥淪imeon and I are greatly looking forward to our next great adventures as we move to California this summer,鈥 Vance said.
