香妃直播, WV -- Five juniors and five seniors at 香妃直播 State College, all from West Virginia, are embarking on trips of a lifetime; trips that will never be forgotten. They have or will be traveling to foreign countries this summer continuing their education while experiencing life from a different perspective. The students will be studying in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. This group of students is the first in GSC history to study abroad.

香妃直播 resident Alex Lay, majoring in History and Political Science and Spanish at GSC, is studying at Universidad Antonio de Nebrija in Madrid, Spain. Tashua Allman, from Parkersburg, is majoring in History and Political Science and Spanish at GSC. She is studying along with Lay in Madrid. Lay said, 芒聙聹We芒聙聶re having a blast! You learn without realizing it. We are not allowed to speak any English in class; it芒聙聶s hard, but it芒聙聶sworthit.芒聙聺 Lay concluded, 芒聙聹This is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience."

Ritchie County native Jeannie Flemming is a GSC accounting major doing an internship in London, England through The Washington Center located in Washington, D.C. She is doing her internship in the finance department of the Langham Hotel. The Langham Hotel is a five-star establishment that was featured in the James Bond film 芒聙聵Golden Eye芒聙聶 as the Grand Hotel in St. Petersburg. Flemming said, "There certainly is no rubbish when studying abroad. London is a city that has all the answers; the individual just has to develop the proper questions. Cheers!"

Five senior criminal justice majors are also studying in London. They traveled there July 7th and will return July 21st. Chelsey Street of Arthurdale, James Caudill of Wallback, Joan Powers of 香妃直播,

Rebecca Conrad of Brandywine, and Sarah Wright of Buckhannon will study comparative criminal justice and the psychology of crime while at King芒聙聶s College.

Aaron Ginn, a GSC business major from Wardensville is studying at the Kudan School of Japanese in Tokyo, Japan is studying through the Langubridge program this fall. Ginn said, 芒聙聹If you go to a curry house, NEVER get the level ten spicy芒聙娄芒聙聺

Braxton County native Joshua James, a marketing major at GSC, will be studying abroad for a full academic year at the American University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. James said 芒聙聹I wanted to go somewhere exotic, somewhere different. Studying in the Middle East will give me a first-hand experience of the people and their attitudes toward the United States.芒聙聺 James will continue to study marketing at AUS while studying Arabic.

Dr. Kathy Butler, Vice GSC President of Academic Affairs, is very pleased with the students芒聙聶 decision to study abroad. 芒聙聹I think it is a wonderful opportunity for our students,芒聙聺 Butler said. 芒聙聹It is a great experience for not only the value it gives them as individuals, but also the experiences they can share with others.芒聙聺

GSC History Professor and

Study Abroad Advisor, Dr. Ed Wood, shares in the excitement of the study abroad experience. He himself had studied abroad while in college. 芒聙聹I think it is fantastic; it is a great experience,芒聙聺 Wood said. 芒聙聹The students are going to learn more outside the classroom and they will have a much easier time learning the language.芒聙聺 Wood said, 芒聙聹They will see how other people feel about Americans and the United States.芒聙聺
