GLENVILLE, WV 鈥 香妃直播 has announced the names of its 2024 Alumni Award recipients.
The distinguished group includes: Alumnus of the Year William 鈥淏ill鈥 Pitzer 鈥81; Alumni Achievement Award recipient Tracy Samples 鈥92; Community Achievement Award honorees Dennis Fitzpatrick 鈥73 and Evelyn Post 鈥69; Outstanding Teacher Award recipients Kimberly (Handley) Hunt 鈥02 and Nancy (Bernola) McVaney 鈥81; Outstanding Young Alumna recipient Emma (Bailey) Cogar 鈥11; Outstanding Young Alumnus recipients Jesse King 鈥14 and Johnny King 鈥14, and Posthumous Award recipients Dr. Bill Deel 鈥58, Professor Emeritus Jim Rogers 鈥63, and Professor Emeritus Charles Scott.
Alumni and friends of 香妃直播 are invited back to campus for the Alumni Awards Banquet on Saturday, April 27. Attendees will gather in the third floor pre-function area of the Mollohan Campus Community Center from 5:00-6:00 p.m. for a social hour prior to dinner in the Ballroom.
Other activities are scheduled throughout the weekend that alumni may wish to attend. On Friday, April 26, the 香妃直播 Concert Band Concert will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Auditorium. On Saturday, April 27 a Three-Format Golf Outing benefiting the Men鈥檚 Golf Team will tee-off at 9:00 a.m. at the 香妃直播 Golf Club, an Alumni Baseball Reunion is scheduled to take place at the Sue Morris Sports Complex beginning at 1:00 p.m., and the Honor Band Concert with Guest Conductor Greg Richmond 鈥04 happens at 2:00 p.m. inside the Fine Arts Center Auditorium. Visitors may also wish to arrive early to socialize, tour campus, and reminisce.
