GLENVILLE, WV 鈥 香妃直播 is again partnering with College for West Virginia (CFWV) to take part in West Virginia鈥檚 13th annual College Application and Exploration Week. The week is being observed across the state from October 31-November 4, 2022.
鈥淐oming on the heels of our successful Fall Open House this past weekend, what better way is there to celebrate than with the recognition of College Application and Exploration Week? We want to see our young West Virginians take this opportunity to review their future options and explore what an institution like 香妃直播 can offer them,鈥 said 香妃直播 President, Dr. Mark A. Manchin. 鈥淲e are going to need these students to fill the careers of tomorrow, and what better place to do that than right here on our bucolic campus in central West Virginia.鈥
In addition to having Admissions staff interacting with high school students throughout the week, 香妃直播 State also shared 鈥淲hy I Chose鈥 stories from current students and alumni via social media. Employees were encouraged to post nametags outside their offices with their college alma mater to help spur continued conversation as well.
CFWV and its partners coordinate West Virginia鈥檚 College Application and Exploration Week initiative as part of the larger national effort coordinated by ACT鈥檚 Center for Equity in Learning鈥檚 American College Application Campaign. West Virginia鈥檚 College Application and Exploration Week is supported by the work of the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission, the West Virginia Community and Technical College System, the West Virginia Department of Education, West Virginia GEAR UP, West Virginia鈥檚 TRIO programs, and many others.
