GLENVILLE, WV - 香妃直播 State College and officials have signed an articulation agreement designed to create a seamless transition for students who have earned an associate degree in business to receiving a bachelor鈥檚 degree.

Under the new agreement, New River CTC students who have completed the Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management along with additional general education courses through New River CTC can build on their education to complete 香妃直播 State鈥檚 baccalaureate degree program in Business Administration with a concentration in management.

香妃直播 State classes in the business administration program will be offered via a variety of delivery methods including in-seat instruction, hybrid courses, distance technology and online courses. 香妃直播 State College鈥檚 in-seat courses and hybrid required courses are expected to be taught on-site at New River CTC鈥檚 Nicholas County Campus in Summersville this fall.

Students transferring must meet the same prerequisites, GPA and other admission criteria when applying to 香妃直播 State programs. The two institutions will work collaboratively to admit students and facilitate the process of admissions.

The agreement becomes effective immediately.

鈥淧artnering is important to us and we believe that this agreement will allow students to transfer seamlessly from New River to 香妃直播 State. Not only does this increase the area to which we can provide degree programs, but it gives students in the New River service area an opportunity to easily complete their associate and baccalaureate degrees,鈥 said 香妃直播 State College President Dr. Tracy Pellett.

鈥淲e鈥檙e excited about this agreement as it exemplifies our mission as a college 鈥 to provide accessible, affordable, quality education,鈥 said New River CTC President Dr. Bonny Copenhaver. 鈥淭hese partnerships help those in our communities gain additional education while strengthening the regional businesses鈥 access to well-qualified employees.鈥

The two schools have a history of cooperation in southern West Virginia serving students in Nicholas County and signed a guaranteed admissions agreement in 2018.

New River Community and Technical College serves nine counties in southeastern West Virginia from the Greenbrier Valley Campus (Lewisburg), Mercer County Campus (Princeton), Nicholas County Campus (Summersville) and Raleigh County Campus (Beaver).
