inclement weather. The recital will be rescheduled at a later date.
香妃直播, WV 芒聙聯 The 香妃直播 State College Fine Arts Department will present a free faculty recital featuring the talents of Assistant Music Professor Carol Benton. 芒聙聵An Evening of Song芒聙聶 will consist of five sets of three songs each featuring the music of Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, and more. 芒聙聹The first will be solos from sacred masterworks (oratorios or masses) of great composers. The second section will be recitatives and arias from operas. The third section will consist of German leider (songs) of the 19th century,芒聙聺 said Benton, 芒聙聹The fourth section will consist of three songs from the French impressionist period, all composed by Claude Debussy. The fifth and final section will consist of songs from American musical theatre of the 1930's. These final songs were composed by George and Ira Gershwin.芒聙聺 The recital will take place on Tuesday, January 15th at 7:00 p.m. Admission is free.
