����ֱ�� State College was recently featured as a showcase site for Advantage Sport & Fitness after they completed renovations to GSC's Mollohan Campus Community Center Fitness Center. See their feature article below:

����ֱ�� State College recently partnered with Advantage Sport & Fitness to deliver major upgrades to their 3,900 square foot fitness center. The school saw immediate benefits from their investment with a dramatic increase in membership.

“We went from 10% of the campus utilizing our fitness center to almost 40%,” said Rusty Vineyard, Vice President of Student Life and Athletics. “We hope to continue this upward trend as we embark on striving towards a healthier campus community.”

Students seeking a high calorie burn benefit from an impressive selection of twenty-one Precor cardio machines including treadmills, adaptive motion trainers, and ellipticals. A Jacob’s Ladder unit delivers a low-impact and high-intensity workout for students looking to push their aerobic and anaerobic conditioning through the roof.

Exercisers interested in getting pumped enjoy a Precor Discovery 4-stack modular unit, Precor Discovery dumbbell racks and benches, and UMAX premium dumbbells.

“Precor is a leader in sustainability and innovative designs,” said Vineyard. “When I had the opportunity to renovate our current fitness center I knew that Precor would be the choice for our students, faculty, staff, alumni and community. Working with Advantage representative Robbie Waller has been a pleasure. He’s very knowledgeable about the Precor product and has been accommodating to our needs at ����ֱ�� State College.”

The updated fitness center features two Queenax W475 wall frames, combining the best in functional training and an easy-to-access storage solution. A variety of Escape functional tools including Plyosoft Boxes, Bulgarian Bags, Corebags, and more deliver a total body workout.

“One of the key components to the ����ֱ�� State College fitness center upgrade was the additional on-site instruction by Precor Master Trainer, Luis Cornier, and also the Escape Fitness online training that we provided the customer,” explains Waller. “Our goal was to not just install the equipment, but provide a path for them to learn and create unique programming with their equipment, promoting a healthy and fun community campus environment.”

“Our staff needs to know how to reach the maximum potential out of each piece of equipment, and the trainings help with that process,” said Vineyard.
